Giving deserving pups the best day of their lives, one incredible story at a time.

Cherry is a Vicktory dog rescued from horrific circumstances in a dog-fighting ring. Although many thought that the dogs pulled from the ring couldn't be rehabilitated, Best Friends Animal Society fought for the dogs. Cherry was one of the miracle stories that proved all the naysayers wrong, and now he's a perfect family dog that gives back by teaching young children in schools about compassion and animal rescue! For that, and the incredible journey Cherry took, we gave him the best day of his life.

A big thanks to our pals at PetSafe for helping us make this day possible and giving Cherry his backyard beach dreams come true; Friends of Berlin Animal Control for bringing their cute adoptable kittens to have a playdate and Uber for getting them there and back safely; Brownstone Bakery for Dogs for custom treats and conspiring with Simply Gourmet to concoct the ultimate doggy sundae; Art of the Event for designing a beachy backyard paradise; Bowser Beer for Cherry’s personalized brews; and Petmate, Planet Dog, Multipet, P.L.A.Y, Plato Pet Treats, and Hyper Pet for making sure there were plenty of toys and treats to go around.
